AFWF Dry-Type Transformer Water Coolers
STE Technic AFWF Coolers enable dry-type transformers to operate in a completely enclosed housing, independent of the surrounding environment, reaching up to IP55 protection class. With only the cooler and power supply, transformers can be safely operated in harsh conditions such as marine, offshore, mining, and tropical regions.
STE Technic AFWF Coolers can be manufactured from stainless steel, titanium, copper, or aluminum materials. Cooling fluids can include water, seawater, or glycol-added water.
In the design of AFWF coolers, transformer losses, ambient temperature, corrosion class requirements, and environmental factors must be taken into consideration. Additionally, parameters such as coolant flow rate, temperature, and pressure levels should be specified.
