OFWF Oil/Water Coolers
- OFWF Shell & Tube Coolers:
STE Technic Shell & Tube heat exchangers are optimized for transformers with enhanced safety features. Thanks to the dual-layer tube structure, in the event of a leak in the inner tube, a chamber filled with water/coolant fluid is formed. This makes it possible to detect leaks with water/coolant or pressure sensors before any mixing occurs between the transformer oil and cooling fluid.
When designing OFWF coolers, information such as oil temperature rise, oil type, transformer losses, cooling fluid type, flow rate, temperature, corrosion class requirements, and environmental factors must be provided.
At STE Technic, we also offer services for oil pump selection and supply.
- OFWF Plate Coolers:
STE Technic Double Wall Plate heat exchangers are optimized for transformer operations with added safety features. The dual-wall structure creates a fluid-filled gap in case of a leak in the inner wall. This allows for leak detection via water/coolant or pressure sensors before any interaction with transformer oil occurs.
When designing OFWF coolers, details such as oil temperature rise, oil type, transformer losses, cooling fluid type, flow rate, temperature, corrosion class requirements, and environmental conditions must be provided.
